* Abgesehen davon, dass ich langsam überzeugt davon bin, dass diese ganzen Fußballerzitate erfunden sind, hat der gute Harenbergkalender dieses Zitat hier eher unkanonisch übersetzt: „Chile hat drei Möglichkeiten: Sie können gewinnen oder verlieren“.

Um das genau zu überprüfen müsste ich natürlich Sportsendungen ansehen und herausfinden, ob Fußballer das wirklich so sagen. Ich glaub’s aber nicht; „die Chilenen“ scheint mir diesem speziellen Fall idiomatischer.
